Christmas Eve!

Mom & Dad were coming down for Christmas--to surprise us--well the surprise came at about 10 pm Christmas Eve when the called telling us that they had been in a car accident. They are both okay, a little bruised and bumped. But we all celebrated Christmas morning together.

Erma turned 61 on November 11th. We celebrated her birthday on Saturday the 10th at Timbers. Steven and Christy came in from Iowa and Guy Guy and I took Ashton up north. We had a great time. We then celebrated Thanksgiving early on the 11th. We spent the weekend with Mom and Dad and had a great time.

Well, Bill and I just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on the 10th of October. We went to Frankenmuth. It was nice and relaxing! Brenden will be 8 on the 14th of November. Gosh Im gettin' old. Where did the time go? Also, the boys are getting ready to start basketball. They are excited! So am I...I like yelling at the ref's!

The only real news that I have is that Nick is playing hockey now for the timbits hockey team sponsered by Tim Hortons and loving it. Brooke is still cheering and we found out that Her last competition will be in pittsburg in april.

Ashton's 4th Birthday

Ashton turned 4 on 8/21 so here are a few pictures from his birthday... Erma made this really cool hamburger and fries for him. It was made out of cake, brownie, and cookies. He loved it. We had the spider man theme going. We even got him a pinata, the kids had a blast. Ashton had to be changed twice. There was a water fight with a few baloons and water guns before the cake and ice cream. Then another water balloon fight after the cake and ice cream; 300 balloons went flying. It was a blast. Ashton was exausted when he finally went to bed.

Hi everyone!

Wow! People are actually using this Bobbie! Yippie! Anyway, all is good here. Im working on getting more birthdays together to post, gosh there are alot ya know! I just wanted to share... I got my first R.N. position! I will be working on the 5100 unit at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. It seems to be a nice hospital. The unit is a neurosurgery floor. I will be taking care of people that have closed head injuries, craniotomys, spinal surgery, nephrectomies (kidney removal), and so on. I am excited! I start on the 6th of August. I also take my boards on the 31st of July! I AM SOOOO NERVOUS! Take care everyone! Love all of you! Misty

Please read Aunt Dawns comment under our first post... (Thought I would post it to make it easier.)

It's so nice to see we have a new way of keeping up with everything going on in our family. It's so hard to take time for phone calls. I hope to be able to check it out at least once a week. Just want to THANK EVERYONE for the great time we had a the reunion. A speciall THANKS to Aunt Erma and Uncle Guy for allowing us to have the reunion at their house again this year. We had a nice time and look forward to all getting together next year. We had a family reunion with all my children and my brother Carl in Gaylord on July 5, 6 and 7th. We rented cabins on Dixon Lake and had the entire place to ourselves. We had a great time. I'll try to post pictures later in the week.
